SHIPPING, WARRANTY, RETURN AND PRIVACY POLICY

SHIPPING POLICY
At checkout, you will be prompted to choose a shipping method for your product(s). Your total shipping charges will automatically be computed during checkout prior to completion of your order.
If you choose to expedite your shipping method, your order must be received and clear credit authorization by 10 a.m. CST, or your order may not be processed until the following business day. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.
P.O. Boxes
Essick Air® does not ship to P.O. Boxes.
Alaska or Hawaii
Essick Air® will ship to Alaska or Hawaii. Please call 1-800-547-3888 for special freight rates.
Changing Your Order
Most orders are immediately transmitted to our warehouse, where they are quickly processed and shipped. Please see our Returns and Warranties section for more detailed information.

WARRANTY POLICY for the United States and Canada
SALES RECEIPT REQUIRED AS PROOF OF PURCHASE FOR ALL WARRANTY CLAIMS.
You may be asked to provide photographs and videos of your product.
This warranty against defects in workmanship and materials is extended by Essick Air® when the unit is installed and used under normal conditions as follows:
Ultrasonics and Steam Humidifiers:

One (1) year from the original date of purchase, and
-
Thirty (30) days from the original date of purchase for demineralization cartridges, which are considered disposable components and should be replaced periodically.
Evaporative Humidifiers:

Two (2) years from the original date of purchase, and
-
Thirty (30) days from the original date of purchase for wicks and filters, which are considered disposable components and should be replaced periodically.
Parts & Accessories:

Ninety (90) days from the original date of purchase on replacement parts, and
-
Thirty (30) days from the original date of purchase for wicks and filters, which are considered disposable components and should be replaced periodically.
Essick Air® will replace the defective part/product, with return freight paid by Essick Air®. It is agreed that such replacement is the exclusive remedy available from Essick Air® and that TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ESSICK AIR® IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.
Exclusions from this warranty: Because Essick Air® cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this limited warranty applies only to products that were purchased from Essick Air® or an Essick Air® authorized seller in the United States of America or Canada, unless otherwise prohibited by law. We reserve the right to reject the warranty claims from purchasers for products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites. We are not responsible for normal and/or periodic replacement of wicks and filters. We are not responsible for any incidental or consequential damage from any malfunction of the product.
This warranty does not apply to, nor are we responsible for any incidental or consequential damages or defects resulting from accident, misuse, alterations, unauthorized or individual service or repair, unauthorized use, mishandling, unreasonable use or abuse (including failure to perform reasonable maintenance), normal wear and tear, or where the connected voltage is more than 5% above the nameplate voltage, nor where the equipment or parts were improperly installed, wired, or maintained in violation of the owner’s manual. Alterations include the substitution of non-Essick Air®/AIRCARE® component parts with Essick Air®/AIRCARE® component parts, including, but not limited to, demineralization cartridges, filters, wicks and bacteria treatment.
We are not responsible for any damage from the use of essential oils, water softeners or treatments, chemicals or descaling materials. They may damage the plastic, cause leaks, and will void your warranty. We are not responsible for the cost of service calls to diagnose the cause of trouble, or labor charge to repair and/or replace parts. No employee, agent, dealer or other person is authorized to give any warranties or conditions on behalf of Essick Air®.
Some jurisdictions (which may include the Province of Quebec) do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. The disclaimers, exclusions and limitations of liability under this warranty will not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law (which may include the Province of Quebec). Except where prohibited by applicable law (which may include the Province of Quebec), this warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable.

RETURN POLICY for the United States and Canada
This warranty gives the customer specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from province to province or state to state. To the extent Essick Air®, or a third party, offers an extended warranty, the terms of any such extended warranty are separate and apart from this warranty, and the failure to sign-up for any extended warranty does not diminish your rights under this warranty.
Where any term of this warranty is prohibited by such laws, it shall be null and void, but the remainder of the warranty shall remain in effect.
Register your product at AIRCARE.com. Failure to complete the registration form does not diminish your warranty rights.
Q: What is your return policy for merchandise purchased on www.aircare.com?
A: Essick Air® accepts returns for all products purchased on www.aircare.com excluding shipping charges. A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns. You may return your purchase within 30 days from date of purchase for a refund.

Merchandise may be refunded with a receipt and must be in new and unused condition in its original packaging.

Purchase prices will be honored for all merchandise exchanges or refunds with a receipt.

All merchandise purchased through Essick Air® that is damaged in shipping will be replaced or refunded the amount of the valued purchased. Price adjustments will be made for product not being returned in resalable condition.

Return Merchandise Authorization "RMA" Request Form Policy
Q: What is your return or exchange policy for merchandise that was purchased through a retailer?
A: You are encouraged to contact customer service before returning your product to the retailer.
Q: Will I be able to return merchandise that is out of warranty?
A: No. Any purchases out of warranty will not be eligible for a refund.
Q: Can I exchange my purchase for something else?
A: No. Essick Air® does not accept exchange requests. However, our customer service representatives will be happy to assist with your return and place a new order over the phone.
Q: If I give my unit away or sell it, does the warranty transfer with the unit?
A: The warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product when it is purchased from a registered brand of Essick Air Products, Inc. or one of our authorized retailers/dealers.
Q: What will void my warranty?
A: The warranty will be null and void if purchaser attempts to repair or replace any mechanical or electrical parts.

Q: What personal information is collected through www.aircare.com?
A: When ordering or registering online, the following information is collected: customer name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information.
